Of A Convex Polygon

Use the formula    180(n - 2)    where n = number of sides

The formula may be written as
180×(n - 2)    or    180*(n - 2)

The formula may also be written as
(n - 2)180    or    (n - 2)×180    or    (n - 2)*180

EXAMPLE
Find the sum of the interior angles of an octagon

Using sum interior angles = 180(n - 2)
with octagon giving n = (8)

Sum of interior angles of an octagon
= 180(8 - 2) = 180(6) = 1080°
