In maths, what does the word product mean?
Product is the name for the answer when we multiply.

What is the product of 2 and 3?
The product of 2 and 3 is 6 because 2 × 3 = 6

Is the answer still called the product if we multiply three numbers?
Yes. The product of 2, 3 and 4 is 24 because 2 × 3 × 4 = 24

Is the answer still called the product if we multiply lots of numbers?
Yes. We can multiply as many numbers as we like and the answer is still called the product.
