Numbers - Multiples

The multiples of 2 are 2 , 4 , 6 , 8 , 10 , ............

The multiples of 3 are 3 , 6 , 9 , 12 , 15 , ............

The multiples of 5 are 5 , 10 , 15 , 20 , 25 , ............

The multiples of 10 are 10 , 20 , 30 , 40 , 50 , ............

The multiples of 100 are 100 , 200 , 300 , 400 , 500 , ............

So, any number is a multiple of itself?
Yes
1 times number = number
1 × number = number
So, yes, every number is a multiple of itself.

Also, have I understood this correctly,
2 times number = multiple of number?

Yes
2 times number = multiple of number
3 times number = multiple of number
4 times number = multiple of number

So, is a multiple of a number, either
the number itself
OR
a higher value in the multiplication table of the number?

Correct.

If I say to myself
"multiply to get a multiple"
will I have the correct idea of a multiple?

Yes
So long as you multiply by a positive whole number
such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ........
